The Great Wall of Chinatown

Since my car is in the shop, I might as well take to transit for some more piano hunting. After returning back home, I grabbed my bike and hopped on the subway to take care of business.

My first stop was the Chinatown street piano for #10. My second attempt.

But this is what I saw:

It was not only covered up, but surrounded on all four sides by steel barriers. Denied!

Were these pianos not intended to be played 24 hours a day? And it was barely even 9 p.m.!

It looks like I'll have to pursue the Chinatown piano another day. Preferably when the sun is shining. Lesson learned...

I guess I'll just have to look for another #10 street piano to play. To the Music Center!
